You shouldn’t have to haul a broken fence or a heavy trailer across Charlotte just to get it fixed. Our mobile welding unit is essentially a professional metal shop on wheels, bringing the repair shop directly to your location.
We offer:
-
On-site trailer hitch repair
-
Field repairs for farm equipment
-
Roadside structural welding
-
Construction site metal fabrication
How does mobile welding work?
We show up with a truck equipped with its own power generator and welding machines. We can perform high-quality ARC or MIG welding right there in your field, driveway, or parking lot. You don’t even need to provide us with an extension cord; we bring everything we need.
Can you weld in the rain?
While we prefer a dry day, we can set up portable “welding tents” to keep the work area dry for emergency repairs. Moisture can compromise the quality of a weld, so we take extra precautions to ensure the environment is safe and controlled. We won’t let a little North Carolina drizzle stop the job.
Is mobile welding as strong as shop welding?
Absolutely, the strength of a weld depends on the skill of the person holding the torch and the quality of the machine. Our mobile equipment is top-of-the-line and produces the same structural integrity you’d get in a permanent shop. Your repair will be just as strong as the original metal.
What is the “travel fee” for mobile service?
We charge a reasonable service call fee to cover the time and fuel required to bring our shop to you. We are always transparent about these costs upfront so there are no surprises when the bill arrives. Most customers find the fee is much cheaper than the cost of transporting heavy equipment.
