What does it mean to be grafted?
In the literal sense, grafting is the art of taking a branch from one place and joining it to a new root system until they’re inseparable.
Our name comes from Romans 11:19, where Paul points out that we’ve been "grafted in" to a source of grace we didn't create and certainly didn't deserve. It’s a bit of theological humility that reminds us we aren’t the ones holding the whole thing together, God is.
